We hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season. This year, we have seen a lot of tight necks, due, in part, to the early arrival of cold weather and snow. Remember to take frequent breaks when shoveling to give your heart a chance to catch up, and to allow your back muscles to recover. I generally recommend wooden-handled shovels as they are lighter than the so-called ergonomic shovels. The trade-off, in my opinion, is not there. I also recommend snow scoops for moving large amounts of snow. So far, the snow this year has been light and generally fluffy. Let’s hope the trend continues, plus the skiers love this kind of snow.
The year end is coming around the corner, and a gentle reminder for those of you who have benefits that expire at the end of the year. If I don’t see you before the end of the year, I wish you a wonderful holiday season and a fabulous 2019! ~ Melanie
