Hikers and campers beware: Lyme Disease has made its way to Canada and is spreading quickly. It is spread primarily by Tic bites and may or may not produce a signature bulls-eye rash.
I just found a great website that discusses what you can do to prevent a tick bite and how to safely remove a tick so it doesn’t release the Lyme disease into your blood.
If you go into the woods, please take a moment to check this out. I, myself, was bit by ticks many years ago (before Lyme Disease made its way to Canada).
